For Rockstar fans, GTA 6 has long been one of those dreams, a longing in frustration as it has been nearly 10 years since the release of GTA V, yet Rockstar continues to milk this game with no signs of stopping. There have been numerous hints about something “new,” however, what this publisher has delivered to gamers has been nothing but disappointment and letdown.

In fact, leaks and information about GTA 6 from the online community have surfaced so frequently that almost no one wants to hear more about it anymore, as Rockstar’s usual response has always been vague and then silence. However, just recently, a famous YouTuber and musician named Mason claimed that he has access to leaked confidential documents from the latest upper-tier meeting of the GTA publisher. These documents reportedly reveal that information about GTA Online will be announced on May 12, while GTA 6 is set to launch on May 16. To add credibility, this YouTuber even changed his profile picture to an image of GTA 6 and shared this “confidential” document.

Besides GTA 6, this confidential document also reveals the release dates of several other major titles, such as NBA 2023, which is expected to launch on September 16, 2022, and Mafia: Primordial set to debut in 2023 alongside Red Dead Redemption: Gunslinger. However, the main focus, of course, remains on GTA 6.

This information seems credible, especially since on May 16, Take-Two is also expected to hold a financial report meeting. It is likely that this will be the time when information about GTA 6 will be revealed. Previously, some claimed that GTA 6 would use the RAGE9 engine – one of the new technologies with stunning graphics that is said to be ahead of its time.

However, contrary to the excitement from the media, gamers appear to be relatively indifferent to this news. It’s understandable, as many admit that they have hoped too much and have been “tricked” enough already. The message from gamers to Rockstar is simply: “Just release GTA 6 and stop the vague promises and empty words.” Whether this information is accurate or not will likely need to wait until May 16 for confirmation.
