Apple recently launched a new version of the iPhone SE. Most of the specifications of the iPhone SE 2020 have been announced, including the A13 Bionic chip, 12MP single camera, 4.7-inch IPS LCD display, and IP67 water resistance…
However, there are two specifications of this device that Apple is still keeping under wraps, which are the RAM capacity and battery capacity. With the perspective “experience is always more important than the numbers”, Apple never specifically discloses these two specifications and forces tech enthusiasts to find out for themselves. The iPhone SE 2020 is no exception.

Fortunately, this mystery has been clarified thanks to information revealed by a carrier in China.
The iPhone SE 2020 has a RAM capacity of 3GB. This level of the iPhone SE 2020 is inferior to the 4GB of the iPhone 11/11 Pro and on par with the iPhone XR/iPhone 8 Plus. Nevertheless, thanks to the A13 Bionic chip, the iPhone SE 2020 will still provide a smooth experience, and users won’t need to worry about performance issues.
The battery capacity of the iPhone SE 2020 is 1821mAh, identical to the iPhone 8. Thus, the iPhone SE 2020 will have a battery capacity that is average to low and completely inferior compared to its Android competitors in the same price range (which are often equipped with batteries of 3000-4000mAh).
Therefore, it can be seen that alongside some limitations such as outdated design, relatively small display, or only a single camera, the battery life will also be a weak point of the iPhone SE 2020. However, at a price of only 399 USD, the iPhone SE 2020 is still a device worth considering for users.
