On the morning of January 28, the Ministry of Health announced case 1581, residing in Vĩnh Tuy ward, Hai Ba Trung district, related epidemiologically to a previous case, patient BN1553.
Patient 1581 is Mrs. L.T.M.T., born in 1967, living at P12A05 T6 Times City, Vĩnh Tuy ward, Hai Ba Trung district.
Through the epidemiological investigation results, the initial travel schedule of BN1581 is identified as follows:
On January 23, the patient visited BN1553’s house, sitting and talking while eating fruits with Mrs. C., the mother of BN1553 (this person has also tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus) for about 1 hour.
Afterward, the patient traveled to 95 Hai Dong Street, Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Duong by private car with her husband.
On January 24, the patient went to Hai Tan market by private car.
On the afternoon of January 25, the patient traveled with her husband back to P12A05 T6 Times City by private car. After that, her husband returned to Hai Duong.
On the morning of January 26, the patient took her grandchild to school at Vinschool T36, and in the afternoon picked her grandchild up and bought medicine at Duc Lan pharmacy in Building T7, Times City.
At 7 AM on January 27, the patient took her grandchild to school, then went to the market with the housekeeper on the same floor 12A T6 along alley 622 Minh Khai, buying flowers, apples, and betel leaves (wearing a mask).
From 10:30 AM to 12 PM, the patient went to Vincom Mega Mall Times City, did not contact anyone, just paid and returned home. Throughout the process, she wore a mask.
At 4 PM – 4:30 PM, the patient picked up her grandchild and returned home.
On January 28, the patient went for a test at B141 Lo Duc Maternity House (Hanoi) with her daughter, and throughout the process, she did not have close contact with anyone and wore a mask.

To ensure the Covid-19 epidemic prevention work, the Vĩnh Tuy ward epidemic prevention steering committee requires all residents currently living and working in all apartments of Building T6 in Times City, 458 Minh Khai, Vĩnh Tuy ward, Hanoi to implement temporary home isolation measures, and not leave their homes. The implementation time is from 1 AM on January 29 until further notice from the ward steering committee.
Declare travel history from January 25 to present.
Monitor health and implement preventive measures according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health. If experiencing any symptoms, notify the building management.
