Rated as the blockbuster of 2022, Elden Ring has indeed been on the path to breaking countless records. In fact, even at this point, there are many opinions suggesting that the Game Award should be awarded to this blockbuster immediately. However, it is not difficult for gamers to point out some limitations of Elden Ring. Just like Genshin Impact, this masterpiece is seen as somewhat “one-dimensional” and somewhat limits interaction between players, focusing too much on boss fights, requiring players to rely solely on their own skills. However, this has recently been “addressed” through a mod that is causing a stir in the online community.

Indeed, despite being labeled as an online game, Elden Ring lacks traditional team features. In the original version, players could only summon friends when challenging bosses or in PvP matches. But recently, Luke Yui – a name causing a stir in the Elden Ring gaming community – has released a public mod where players can freely gather, explore the open world, pray together, and fight bosses unlimitedly.

This mod is known as Seamless Co-op and is now publicly available for Elden Ring players to experience. Theoretically, with Seamless Co-op, Elden Ring players can play with friends right from the beginning and stick together until they finish the game. The mod has also been released on GitHub, and players can download Beta 1.00 to try it out.

According to some initial reviews, the mod has many notable mechanics such as after defeating a boss, players will no longer be sent back to their own worlds like in the original. It supports co-op for up to four players, and if someone unfortunately falls during the boss fight, they can still watch the battle from a spectator’s perspective. The loot that drops after defeating a boss or mob is not unique; everyone gets a share. Overall, this version of Elden Ring is considered more comprehensive than the original.

Of course, it’s not surprising that Seamless Co-op has received a lot of attention from Elden Ring players, as it addresses the needs of most players. But gamers should also consider that the online connection of this mod does not use the official game servers, so the anti-hack system will not be activated.
