Elon Musk – the founder and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX – a master of “magicking” cryptocurrency and also the Man of the Year according to Time magazine, has likely become a familiar figure in the online community over the past few years. Not only has he shocked many with his frequently deemed “arrogant” statements, but Elon Musk has also caused countless headaches with his extremely cryptic tweets that lead to unusual fluctuations in various cryptocurrencies. However, no one would have guessed that, despite his grandstanding on social media, there would be moments when Elon Musk would feel a chill from a 19-year-old kid.

The main character in this story is Jack Sweeney, a 19-year-old student at the University of Central Florida, who recently stirred up the online community by revealing his conversation with billionaire Elon Musk. Specifically, Jack is the creator of the Twitter account named ElonJet – where people can update the flight path of the world’s richest billionaire’s private jet. This account has over 127,000 followers and uses automated software to retrieve ADS-B civil aviation tracking data to track Musk’s private jet in real-time.

Realizing this could pose a security risk for him, Elon proactively contacted Jack to request that the kid take down this social media account. However, Jack responded cheekily: “I could do that, but you have to pay for a Model 3. Just kidding, unless you’re serious?” – the kid humorously replied. Jack also mentioned that he has been a fan of Elon Musk for a long time. After that, Musk offered $5,000 to the kid because he “didn’t want to be shot down by some crazy person,” while Jack demanded ten times that amount as well as a Model 3. To date, Jack has not received any money.
Currently, Elon Musk has outright blocked Jack on his personal page, while Jack expressed his desire to intern at one of Musk’s companies instead of receiving money as before. But it seems this move might be a bit off the mark.
