Power banks – devices that can now be considered indispensable for many people in an era when smartphone usage is at an all-time high. If you have experience shopping or researching in this field, you probably know that the most common portable charger we usually buy has a capacity ranging from about 10,000 to 20,000 mAh – enough for 3-6 phone battery recharges. However, recently, a YouTuber has stunned everyone by inventing and producing a super huge power bank with a capacity of up to 27 million mAh.

The main character in this story is Handy Geng – a name well-known in the electronics field in China. However, Handy’s fame truly soared after he created this “super huge” power bank. It didn’t take long for his YouTube channel to attract a lot of attention. As Handy explained initially, the reason he made this battery was simply that he was tired of his friends having larger power banks than him. That’s all.

The first thing he did was purchase a large battery core, typically used in electric vehicles, then wrap it in a casing that looks just like a regular power bank, and make some tweaks before attaching power outlets with a 220V output. It sounds simple, right? But according to Handy, this power bank has up to 60 power outlets, can charge 20 devices simultaneously, and above all, it can even power TVs and washing machines, of course for a limited time based on the battery reserve.

There’s no denying Handy’s creativity. However, after the initial surprise, many people began to question its practicality. Indeed, with its super huge size, it’s unlikely anyone other than Handy would carry this power bank around outside.
