Recently, YouTuber Khoa Pug has attracted the attention of the online community as he returned to YouTube with videos sharing his leg lengthening process in the United States. A few days after his surgery and taking the first steps on his new legs, Khoa Pug has officially been discharged from the hospital.
According to his video sharing, the male YouTuber spent 4,000 USD per month (nearly 100 million VND) to rent a hotel in the U.S. This is also where Khoa Pug rests and continues his physical therapy until he undergoes the next surgery.

In the training area with his personal doctor, Khoa Pug is guided to use various equipment and tools to stimulate the flexibility of his legs and stretch his muscles. Everything is still quite challenging for him, sometimes painful, but Khoa Pug remains very persistent in following the doctor’s instructions.

Khoa Pug’s goal after this first surgery is to grow an additional 8 cm. To achieve this, the male YouTuber must use a specialized machine that helps to lengthen bones. Each day, Khoa Pug needs to place the machine on his legs 4 times, each time stimulating the bones to grow by 0.25 mm. Thus, every 10 days, his height will increase by 1 cm. To meet the initial target, Khoa Pug will need 80 days.
Compared to his days in the hospital, Khoa Pug can now move much more nimbly. Although he still relies on a walker and wheelchair, the reduced pain has made his daily activities easier.
To celebrate the milestone of his legs getting longer, Khoa Pug also went big by buying king crab. The male YouTuber also shared more about his height: “I used to be 1.67 m tall, while the average height of men in Vietnam at that time was 1.65 m. But after a while, the average height has increased to 1.68 m. That’s one of the reasons I decided to lengthen my legs.”

Additionally, the male YouTuber pointed out the difficulties he will face during the leg lengthening process. The first issue is the costs, including surgical fees, hospital stays, medication, hotel rentals, and hiring physical therapists… Khoa Pug estimates that each additional cm will cost around 500 million VND. This means that to grow from 1.67 m to 1.75 m, he needs to invest at least 4 billion VND. Not to mention the inconveniences in personal activities, and health impacts are also things to consider. The YouTuber chose Southern Hills hospital in the U.S., which is exclusive to wealthy individuals, with costs up to 4,500 USD per night (nearly 105 million VND).
The male YouTuber also advises young people in their adolescent years to diligently exercise and eat healthily for natural height development, rather than resorting to medical interventions later on.
