As the Internet continues to develop, social media has become one of the fastest and most effective channels for information and even on-the-spot advice for many questions from the online community. Almost every topic, regardless of how new or unusual, will receive enthusiastic responses from the online community, though the level of trolling or usefulness for the original poster depends on many factors. Recently, the online community was taken aback by a “cry for help” from a young man, who posted a story that might not be suitable for the faint-hearted.
Specifically, according to the main character’s account, the young man was with his girlfriend on what should have been a “memorable trip.” Everything seemed normal as the two rented a house to rest and spend the night before heading back the next day. However, while he was sleeping soundly, he suddenly woke up feeling a chill. Turning around, he realized his girlfriend was nowhere to be found. Panicking, he scanned the room for her, and eventually found her, but was met with a frightening sight.
For some unknown reason, his girlfriend, who had been sleeping comfortably beside him, suddenly climbed up onto the refrigerator and sat there rather ominously. Just looking at it, we probably can’t help but feel a chill. After a moment of composure, the protagonist surprisingly managed to take out his phone to snap a photo, which he then uploaded to social media, asking for advice from the online community after repeatedly calling her with no response.
Needless to say, the majority of the online community was extremely frightened after reading this story. Some advised the young man to “run away immediately,” while others, braver, suggested calmly observing her and believed it could be a case of sleepwalking, gently bringing her down. Additionally, many speculated that this might be a setup for views.
