In Genshin Impact, alongside the main characters, none of us can be unfamiliar with Paimon – an irreplaceable companion in adventures across the continent of Teyvat. Cute, lovable, and always asking funny, interesting questions and making humorous actions, it’s no wonder Paimon consistently ranks among the most beloved characters.

Receiving a lot of love from the fans of Genshin Impact, the fans of this adorable character were even more surprised recently when a remarkably cute sculpture of Paimon appeared. It is known that this lifelike statue is currently on a beach in Brazil, accompanied by a frame of this character so fans can comfortably compare and take selfies.

The image looks quite similar to the original, and some even expressed admiration for Paimon’s subtle smirk reminiscent of the Mona Lisa in this sculpture. The majority admired how the sculptor could maintain the halo on top of Paimon’s head using sand without being affected by the wind. Gamers were so excited they wished to fly to Brazil to see the lifelike statue. However, alongside many compliments, the creator must feel frustrated as numerous critiques and sarcastic remarks about this masterpiece also surfaced.

Specifically, a section of gamers argued that Paimon is essentially a “flying” creature, and never appears in a sitting position as the creator depicted. Some who consider themselves superior mocked this sculpture, claiming it is aesthetically poor and falls short compared to the original.

However, regardless of the criticism, we should acknowledge the effort and dedication of the creator. This is also a way to express love for Genshin Impact after all.
