If you didn’t know, Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) was developed by SCS Software since 2012 and similar to Microsoft Flight Simulator, this game has no storyline at all. The player’s only task is simply to drive around with various types of vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks… In this game, each type of vehicle features many famous brands from all over the world.

Moreover, this game not only allows players to become ‘drivers’ in countries around the world but also enables gamers to embody Vietnamese drivers, providing a direct experience of traveling across 63 provinces and cities throughout the country, encountering surprising and amusing situations that are just like real life.

Perhaps because of this, the game has become a new source of inspiration for Vietnamese streamers to transform into ‘drivers’ with various personalities and challenges during live streams. Among these streamers, Hoàng Sầu has emerged as one of the most followed ‘drivers’ due to his humor and relatable everyday stories. In fact, this guy even set a record of nearly 24,000 viewers simultaneously on his Facebook Gaming live stream.

Starting his streaming career with PUBG Mobile, Nguyễn Văn Hoàng, known by his unique nickname Hoàng Sầu, struggled for 1-2 years without any notable achievements. In fact, no one knew who he was. This is quite understandable as PUBG Mobile is one of the hot games with a large number of streamers participating globally. He felt stressed as it seemed all his efforts were going nowhere. There were even times when he thought about giving it all up. Despite the difficult start, Hoàng Sầu was very lucky and bold when he decided to take a gamble on his life by pursuing a unique path in a new game to challenge himself called ETS 2.

With that daring step, Hoàng Sầu unintentionally “struck gold” in uncharted territory. Just like his early days livestreaming PUBG Mobile, Hoàng Sầu initially faced many challenges since ETS 2 was relatively unknown. However, with his humorous personality and relatable stories as a real driver, Hoàng Sầu quickly conquered his viewers during his live streams. From starting with only 100-300 viewers online, now every time he streams, he averages between 3,000-4,000 viewers simultaneously. Notably, not long ago, this guy even broke his own record and confirmed his unique position in the ‘online driver’ world of this game when he reached 23,493 online viewers.
Though he is a relatively new name in the Vietnamese streaming community, Hoàng Sầu’s success story with the ‘quirky’ game ETS2 is sure to become a driving force and an inspiring tale for many other streamers to follow as they venture into the world of gaming livestreaming on Facebook Gaming in the near future.
