League of Legends: Wild Rift has been available to Vietnamese gamers for nearly 5 months, which is a sufficient amount of time for the game to address its “persistent” issues. However, one of the problems that continues to give players headaches is the occasional lag that occurs during gameplay.

This issue may not occur for the majority of players, but there is still a segment of gamers who frequently report experiencing it during matches, leading to “blind” combos affecting both teammates and opponents. By the time they come to their senses, they find themselves on the scoreboard with a deep black screen.

Recently, a player of League of Legends: Wild Rift caused a stir in the community after smashing their iPhone in frustration, claiming the game was too laggy. In the last screenshot taken by this player, the connection status bar was still green.

Many gamers have differing opinions, stating, “That’s weird. I’ve noticed that since the latest update, the lag has decreased significantly. Before, I couldn’t even play on Wi-Fi. It was always 700 – 999. Now the connection is solid.” This indicates a commendable effort by Riot Games and VNG to ensure a stable connection environment for their players.

However, some players argue, “Now the ping is around 40-70, but if the match pairs us with many players from other countries, the ping goes up to 3xx-999.” It shows that while lag still occurs in Wild Rift, it is no longer as widespread as before. There are still a minority of gamers facing this issue, but their numbers seem insignificant.

The case of the aforementioned player falls into this minority, and it’s unfortunate for the iPhone. One gamer commented that, on a positive note, this could be an opportunity for the player to get a new, better phone. Indeed, in every situation, people can always find something positive to make life more enjoyable.
