Many opinions suggest that being at home during the pandemic is a time for gamers to relax and enjoy gaming freely. However, not everyone understands that while they can play games, there are countless struggles faced by gamers, and certainly, many wish that the pandemic would soon be over so they could return to their normal lives.
Poor Internet Quality
With the recommendation to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary, the number of people at home has increased, which correlates with the rising number of people using the Internet at the same time. Recently, many Vietnamese gamers have taken to the internet to express their frustrations over the deteriorating quality of their internet connection, especially during peak hours like the evening. Lagging internet and choppy gameplay are no fun for anyone.

Additionally, the difficulty in accessing popular websites like Youtube and Facebook has also caused considerable frustration for gamers during this pandemic.
Not Even Able to Play Games
This is exactly what many gamers of FPS titles like CS:GO, PUBG, or more recently, Call of Duty: Warzone are complaining about. During the pandemic, internet cafes and gaming centers have closed, effectively eliminating many people’s options for gaming.

Remember that the aforementioned FPS games require high specifications and also need good mouse and keyboard setups for the best experience. Not every gamer has a dedicated gaming corner at home to accommodate this.
And Above All, You Won’t Be Able to Focus on Gaming
This may be the most important aspect. While being at home with free time, you might think you can dedicate time to gaming, but this is surely just a dream. Simply put, you are not alone at home; there are family members such as parents or spouses and children around.
Without school, young gamers won’t be able to devote all their time and energy to games while being under the watchful eyes of their parents. Similarly, husbands can’t escape household chores and childcare duties either.
