Number of cases in Vietnam:
– As of 6 AM on January 31: Vietnam has a total of 914 COVID-19 cases due to local transmission, with 221 new cases reported since January 27.
– From 6 PM on January 30 to 6 AM on January 31: 14 new cases were reported, with 0 cases being detected upon entry and placed in isolation immediately.

Information on new cases: 14 NEW CASES are community transmissions. Specifically:
– Bac Ninh Province reports 1 female patient, 29 years old, residing in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province, is the wife of patient BN1565 and mother of patient BN1652, both of whom were previously reported as cases related to the outbreak in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province.
– Hoa Binh Province reports 2 cases, residing in Tan Lac District and Hoa Binh City, Hoa Binh Province, related to the outbreak in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province, with epidemiological information currently under further investigation.
– Gia Lai Province reports 2 cases, residing in Ayun Pa Town, Gia Lai Province, with a history of contact with 2 previously confirmed patients in Ayun Pa Town, Gia Lai Province.
– Hanoi City reports 5 cases, residing in Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi City, with a history of contact with patient BN1694.
– Hai Duong Province reports 4 new cases, all in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province, with epidemiological information currently under further investigation.
Number of people in quarantine: The total number of close contacts and entrants from epidemic areas being monitored for health (quarantine): 23,065, including:
– Quarantine in hospitals: 150
– Quarantine in other facilities: 20,336
– Home quarantine: 2,579
Treatment situation: According to the report from the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control: as of now, our country has cured 1,456 COVID-19 patients.
As of now, among the COVID-19 patients being treated in healthcare facilities, the number of cases testing negative for SARS-CoV-2 for the first time: 6 cases; number of cases testing negative for the second time for SARS-CoV-2: 4 cases; number of cases testing negative for the third time is 8 cases.
The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in our country to date is 35, consisting of patients with multiple severe underlying conditions, including 31 cases in Da Nang, 3 in Quang Nam, and 1 in Quang Tri.
