Although he has “turned a new leaf” by deleting all clips of inappropriate and negative content from the past, it seems that the name NTN still hasn’t been fully embraced by many. Specifically, there are quite a few opinions suggesting that his challenge videos do not convey meaningful messages or offer much beyond a few eye-catching elements. However, it must be acknowledged that recently, this YouTuber has changed significantly. In fact, in his latest clip, NTN even produced a heavily invested new MV and demonstrated his rap skills and flow that rival anyone else’s.
Specifically, in the latest MV titled “Không” (No), NTN strongly condemned the scrutinizing and judgmental behavior of a negative segment of the online community, also known as “keyboard warriors.” And perhaps many people would be surprised by NTN’s super cool new look in this MV. While his charisma has long been established, NTN’s fluent rap skills are something that not many fans might have anticipated. Therefore, it’s no surprise that “Không” quickly gained traction and has currently risen to the top 30 trending on YouTube.
However, a rather surprising reality is that despite the attention and immense support from a large fan base, as of now, three days after its release, the views for the MV “Không” have only reached 1.3 million—a figure that seems quite modest even when compared to his past clips. This has led to a phenomenon where many of NTN’s fans suspect that YouTube has “frozen” the views of the MV, “suppressing” their idol.
Not only views, but even NTN’s subscriber count seems to be “frozen” as well. The milestone of 10 million subscribers—equivalent to YouTube’s diamond play button—has been very close. However, over the past months, NTN has remained stuck at 9.63 million, leading many of his fans to raise their suspicions.
