The combination of cats and chickens is not something that is typically related, yet recently, the online community was moved to tears after witnessing the touching story of these two animals.
Specifically, the community recently shared a rather unusual image, where a hen, instead of brooding over eggs, was actually brooding over three adorable kittens. However, few know that behind this unique image lies a heart-wrenching story. According to the person who discovered this situation, he is the owner of a small poultry farm. As he shared, recently a stray cat had often appeared at his farm, not to tease the chickens like many mischievous cats do, but mainly to socialize and sneak some food.
And on a beautiful day, upon hearing a strange noise outside the chicken coop, the farmer unexpectedly went to check and found a white hen lying still and very calm in the nest. However, what was more suspicious was that from inside came sounds resembling meowing. Upon inspection, he discovered three kittens nestled under the hen. After searching everywhere, he finally found the lifeless body of the mother cat lying motionless near a pond.
At this point, the farmer could somewhat deduce the details of the incident. It is possible that the stray cat had anticipated that she would become exhausted and not make it, so she entrusted her kittens to the hen for “care”. And indeed, this mother hen performed her task excellently by using her feathers to keep the kittens warm, providing them with a new home.
The farm owner, after posting this story that brought many tears to the community, also shared that life indeed has many strange things, even surpassing the boundaries of natural laws.
