This morning, 04/02/2020, Garena has updated the new version called Auto Chess for Arena of Valor. In addition to officially adding the auto chess mode to this game, Garena has also implemented a series of other changes, just like in many previous updates. However, instead of celebrating the new update, Arena of Valor players are “going crazy” due to the ridiculous bugs that arose before, during, and after the update.

The first issue, as always, many players have had difficulty updating Arena of Valor, especially on iOS. Players reported that although their devices are not “low-end”, they encountered issues preventing them from updating the game on the App Store. Those who were luckier and completed the update faced being “stuck” during the additional download and data extraction process. Even though the internet speed was not low, the download speed was extremely slow, at times dropping to just 1kb/s.

After finally entering the game, numerous players reported that they encountered bugs with items. Many S-rank charms in the mission pass suddenly turned into 25 treasure draw tickets, causing users to feel genuinely outraged. Everyone knows how “cheap” the value of treasure draw tickets and gems in Arena of Valor is currently. Therefore, it is completely understandable that players are furious over this bug or Garena’s actions.

Furthermore, many players “reported” that they lost their elite Nakroth skin. It is unclear whether this is intentional by Garena or due to the Auto Chess version bug, but it is known that this is a very serious issue. The value and effort required for players to obtain an elite Nakroth skin is neither cheap nor easy.

It seems that there are quite a few bugs in the Auto Chess version, and the number of “unlucky” players affected by these ridiculous issues is not small. If Garena does not take steps to appease the community, they may very well face severe backlash from players. Hopefully, players will not suffer losses in this update and will receive a proper response from Garena as soon as possible.
