If you are someone who enjoys collecting, whether it’s coins, antiques, or any other items, you surely understand that nothing is more painful than watching all your hard work and achievements suddenly go to waste on a beautiful day. And that is exactly what our main character had to endure in the story below.
Recently, the online community was stirred up after a member took to the internet to lament that his Gundam collection worth over a billion VND had been ruthlessly destroyed, with the culprits being none other than neighborhood kids.

Specifically, everything began when the protagonist’s grandmother passed away, and since the funeral was held nearby, his apartment unexpectedly became a temporary lodging for many relatives. Of course, our main character was very careful, always locking the door to his collection room when he noticed unusual signs with so many kids around. But then again, plans often go awry; one beautiful day, when he returned home, he was shocked to find models strewn across the living room in ruins. It turned out that the culprit was the son of his cousin. Young and talented, the little boy not only managed to pick the lock but also wreaked havoc on the models that the gamer had painstakingly built.

Most of the original models were destroyed, leaving only piles of debris, while limited edition DVDs also suffered the same fate. After the funeral concluded, both sides finally arranged to discuss, and according to estimates, a total of 41 limited edition models were completely beyond repair, along with 38 DVD sets, 45 comic series, and even the computer case. The total damage was estimated by the victim to be around 3.14 million yen (over 600 million VND). That is a price that is already quite lenient, considering that the value of limited editions increases over time.

But even more surprising was that the cousin not only showed no gratitude but also accused the victim of being a fraud, deliberately “inflating” the value of these toys. However, when the gamer publicly displayed prices on Amazon, everyone fell silent. Ultimately, the agreed compensation amounted to around 4 million yen (over 800 million VND).
