In recent years, it can be said that Sang Vlog has unexpectedly risen to become a very notable name, even affectionately dubbed by fans as the “poorest YouTuber in Vietnam” with simple videos featuring rural mountain food that garner millions of views. This stems from the fact that he still lives in a house made of bamboo and thatch, with a flimsy tin roof, and only one bed in a small room for his mother, while he sleeps on the floor. In the beginning, he didn’t even have a computer to edit videos, relying instead on an old smartphone for filming and post-production. However, those days of Sang Vlog being the poorest YouTuber in Vietnam, as many called him, are long gone. Sang Vlog himself does not want to be associated with that nickname and has publicly shared his earnings from YouTube on multiple occasions.

However, just recently, Sang Vlog surprised the online community by sharing that he was robbed on the morning of the 5th day of the Lunar New Year while he was out filming a vlog with neighborhood kids in the forest. According to the YouTuber, when he returned home on the afternoon of the 6th, he discovered that the door had been broken into, and the inside was ransacked and disturbed. Many valuable items such as cameras and savings had vanished without a trace. Even more concerning, both his Gold and Silver YouTube buttons were vandalized, with the emblem in the center of the frame pried away.

The images shared by Sang Vlog quickly garnered sympathy from the online community for the unfortunate YouTuber, while also sparking outrage at the thief’s actions. Many people advised Sang Vlog to involve the authorities, hoping that he would soon recover his lost items and be more vigilant to prevent such unfortunate incidents from happening again.
