Recently, a surprising story has caused quite a stir among gamers in China. Specifically, a female player of the game Three Kingdoms reported that she lost a valuable item in the game. This player claims that the system automatically seized her equipment after she logged off.

Notably, this female gamer is a VIP customer of the game. Over the course of three years, she has invested up to 300,000 Renminbi (about over 1 billion VND) into this game. The equipment she lost in the game was also valued at 40,000 Renminbi (approximately nearly 140 million VND).
Of course, this female gamer requested to get her item back, but the game’s customer service stated that they could not return or exchange it. Normally, all items and assets of players would be deleted in the event of the game shutting down. In this case, the gamer has to accept a complete loss.

However, this player mentioned that the game Three Kingdoms is still being released as usual, but the operational team has not taken any steps to compensate or even provide a reasonable explanation to the players. The community believes that the rights and interests of players cannot be “erased at will”; the operational team must respect their gamers and choose methods accepted by customers when adjusting their business strategies.
Additionally, in-game assets are considered virtual property, protected by the regulations of each country. Therefore, this female gamer stated that she will “fight to the end” to reclaim her rights and assets.
