Most livestream platforms today have statistics showing who donates the most to streamers. This is also why many humorous yet awkward stories arise live, often from the channels of female streamers.
Recently, on a livestream platform in China, a story that was both funny and sad occurred. Specifically, a gamer, known as the “big brother” in this female streamer’s channel, donated a substantial amount to the female streamer. Of course, part of it was admiration, but also because this gamer had feelings for the streamer and wanted to support his crush wholeheartedly.
But there wouldn’t be anything to discuss if this gamer wasn’t married. Unfortunately, during one instance where he accidentally donated tens of millions to his “crush,” he was caught by his wife. This wife used her husband’s donation account to chat live, saying, “I’m just an ordinary working person, I have to support my wife and children, I promise I will never donate such amounts again.”
Since then, no one has seen this guy on the list of top donors to the female streamer. Occasionally, his name still appears on the notice board of those following the female streamer, but he just watches quietly and leaves, without donating again or sending any chats from this account.
The lesson learned is that gamers should know their limits, especially those who are already married; don’t… look at other mountains while neglecting your own, or you might end up “missing” like the character mentioned above.
