Although they are no longer collaborating, the “fate” between Jack and K-ICM seems far from over. Recently, the online community was taken by surprise, pondering the “fate” between the two artists. This all started from a series of photos circulating online with the same content: clicking to watch Jack’s MV “Là một thằng con trai,” but the first thing that appears on the screen is an advertisement for the product of his former collaborator, K-ICM.
According to reports, a series of images were recently posted by Jack’s fans reflecting the aforementioned situation. Initially, many believed these were just jokes or perhaps the result of Photoshop. However, as similar comments emerged, it became clear that this was indeed the reality.
In reality, having ads for one MV appear when watching another is not an unfamiliar occurrence, and it can be said to be common not only in Vietnam but also in many countries around the world. Usually, not many would pay much attention to this. However, what stands out is that the names Jack and K-ICM unexpectedly appeared together in a way no one could have imagined, turning into an interesting “reunion” for the online community.
Of course, this has led to many debates. However, it cannot be denied that while Jack seems to be sailing smoothly since going solo, K-ICM has not enjoyed the same fortune. Specifically, his newly released MV continues to face the problem of dislikes greatly outnumbering likes, and it is barely inching its way into the trending top on YouTube – a rather disappointing metric compared to the records set when the duo of Jack & K-ICM were dominating the entertainment scene.
