As of now, PUBG Mobile remains one of the most popular survival mobile games globally. Alongside Free Fire and Call of Duty Mobile, and other names like Fortnite, PUBG Mobile has maintained its own position. This is also why PUBG Mobile always “attracts” many hackers, those who are eager to ruin the experience for other players.

To combat this group of hackers, PUBG Mobile has continuously updated their anti-cheat system and considers it the main tool to eliminate cheaters from their game. However, how effective is this system, really? There have been numerous complaints from the global gaming community about blatant hackers in the game who are still not banned.
Therefore, recently, a YouTuber named ExxotikGaming came up with an idea to conduct a public hack experiment in PUBG Mobile to see if the anti-hack system would detect him. Of course, to ensure safety, this YouTuber created a new account to conduct this experiment. The method he used was playing PUBG Mobile on PC with a mouse and keyboard while still pairing with mobile players.
Naturally, this pairing creates a significant unfairness and is seen as a discriminatory action in PUBG Mobile. Gamers will have much simpler control, with almost zero recoil on guns thanks to easy aim-assistance with a mouse, and the player’s movement will be “smoother” with a keyboard.

Normally, PUBG Mobile can detect this. Therefore, the YouTuber had to use a specialized application (name withheld) to trick the anti-cheat system of PUBG Mobile, making it appear as if he was still playing the game on a mobile device, rather than connected to a mouse and keyboard.

The result was that this YouTuber ended his match with 15 kills and his new account remained unharmed. Now, most players can see how “terrifying” the anti-hack capabilities of PUBG Mobile really are.
Previously, PUBG Mobile was promoted by Tencent to launch a new anti-cheat mechanism to save ranking points lost by players if they were taken down by a hacker. This is the latest move from PUBG Mobile, and prior to this, Tencent had taken many actions to protect players’ experiences from cheaters. It would be very frustrating and unfair for gamers to “go down” too early and lose points due to being taken down by hackers. However, the effectiveness of this system still needs to be tested multiple times.
