Like other games, Counter-Strike has to deal with the headache of cheating and hacks that upset the gaming community. Not turning a blind eye, the publisher of Counter-Strike has implemented a new anti-hack system with the determination to “clean up” the gaming environment.

In this effort, not only the publisher but also players and internet cafés will join hands to push back this pressing problem.
For Players
Raise awareness of gaming, do not use hacks/cheats.
Report hacks using the Report feature in-game while participating in the “Military Court” community to report hacks.
For Internet Cafés
Do not install hacks/cheats to serve the desire to “ruin the game” for players.
For Publishers
– Supplement the GM (GameMaster) team to regularly patrol 24/7 to clean up cases that tools cannot detect.
– Upgrade the Code Hunter software and simultaneously update the XIGNCODE 3 anti-hack system.
– “Because the hacking problem directly affects our revenue as well as our product in Vietnam. Therefore, in the coming time, VTC Online along with SmileGate Corporation will work with A05 to address behaviors that attempt to produce and promote software that affects our products.”
– Permanently ban players using hacks/cheats on the first offense.
– Block the IP of internet cafés with multiple violations.

Those who engage in hacking, cheating, or promoting cheating behavior will face appropriate penalties based on the severity of the violations, such as account locks for 7, 30 days, or permanently.
For internet cafés, proceed to lock IPs and MAC addresses for those with more than 2 instances of using hacks/cheats at the same address. Regarding this clause, the publisher will send a document to all management systems of internet cafés including: GCafe, CSM… to notify café owners.
Individuals or organizations distributing hacks/games will face legal accountability under Vietnam’s Cybersecurity Law. VTC Online will coordinate with authorities to address these issues.

These strong measures demonstrate VTC Online’s determination to bring back the golden age of Counter-Strike, allowing players to trust in a “clean” gaming environment in the future.
