Specifically, as of 12:00 PM on January 29, Hai Duong has reported 130 cases, of which 126 are related to POYUN Co., Ltd. and 4 cases at Chi Linh Medical Center.
As of the morning of January 29, Hai Duong has collected a total of 4,890 test samples. Specifically, at POYUL Company, there were 1,936 samples, other companies in the industrial park had 1,598 samples, Kim Dien village had 964 samples, and Chi Linh Medical Center had 392 samples.
In Quang Ninh, as of the morning of January 29, a total of 15 cases have been reported, all related to patient 1552; no cases have been reported related to the 8 cases residing in Dong Trieu who worked at POYUL Company in Hai Duong and tested positive. To date, 149 close contacts have all tested negative.
Related to the outbreak at Van Don Airport, Quang Ninh has identified a total of 851 cases, including 466 F1, 382 F2, and 2 F3.
The cases related to the Chi Linh outbreak have identified 99 cases, including 43 F1 and 56 F2.
In Hai Phong, there are 2 mother and child who traveled from Hai Duong to Hai Phong, quarantined for 3 days; the child showed symptoms of coughing and was brought to treatment at the Children’s Hospital. Both mother and child were tested 3 times, resulting in the child testing positive and the mother testing negative for SARS-CoV-2.
In Hanoi, on the morning of January 29, 2 new cases were reported. The first case is a 54-year-old female patient residing at Time City, Vinh Tuy, Hai Ba Trung, who came into contact with patient BN1553. The second case is a 20-year-old male patient from Chi Linh, studying Foreign Languages in Hanoi, residing at Nguyen Khanh Toan, Quan Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.
All 93 close contacts of these 2 cases have been tested, awaiting results. Additionally, Hanoi has reported another case, patient BN1569, who has been declared positive by the Quang Ninh CDC, residing in Hang Gai Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. Currently, all close contacts of this individual have tested negative.
In Bac Ninh, as of the morning of January 29, 1 case has been reported, which is the daughter of patient 1565; currently, 33 F1 and 52 F2 contacts have been identified, and samples are awaiting test results.
The cases in Hai Duong are mainly concentrated at POYUN Co., Ltd., with no new cases reported in the community in the Chi Linh area.
The cases in other provinces (Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong) are all related to the outbreak in Hai Duong.
The cases in Quang Ninh are only related to the outbreak at Van Don.
