The term “hacker” often carries a negative connotation, but there are always “hacker this”, “hacker that”. White hat hackers, also known as ethical hackers, typically infiltrate systems or software, applications, and websites to test the security of information system gateways.
Companies, businesses, and applications greatly need white hat hackers, as they identify potential vulnerabilities that could be attacked and report them to help secure the organization’s resources. Notably, these white hat hackers are often rewarded with significant sums of money and recognized for their contributions to organizations.

Recently, Apple’s official website announced a list of security experts who contributed to patching vulnerabilities for the company in May 2022. This list includes 43 names of white hat hackers, among them is Hiếu PC – a name well-known in the cybersecurity community in Vietnam.

This is not the first time a Vietnamese white hat hacker has been honored by Apple. In March, two other hackers, Bé Mây of CyKiller and Harry Ha (Cookie Han Hoan), were also mentioned by Apple in the list.
