It has been over 3 months since its release, and now, Elden Ring has gradually entered a saturation phase. Not only has the number of online players decreased significantly compared to its peak period, but the sales revenue of this blockbuster has also shown signs of stagnation over time. At this point, alongside some streamers, gamers are trying to find unique ways to conquer Elden Ring to attract attention, but there is not much left to discuss about this game as before.

However, no one expected that recently, the name Elden Ring would once again be mentioned by the online community in a way that few could foresee. Everything began when Elden Ring players unexpectedly discovered a mobile game version of this blockbuster on the App Store. From the wallpaper to the introduction, everything was identical to the PC version of Elden Ring. This led many to question whether Bandai Namco had hastily brought Elden Ring to mobile without any prior notice.

However, upon closer inspection, the name of the game was Elden Ring R. Indeed, many began to think that this was likely a knockoff version of Elden Ring. Numerous gamers tried to download this game and experience it, but most ended up disappointed when they saw the character selection. “A mess” – that was exactly how gamers felt, as it was nothing more than a typical grinding game, with little more than a wallpaper resembling Elden Ring and an equivalent description.

In fact, this is not the first time a knockoff version of Elden Ring has appeared on the App Store. In fact, back in March, there were quite a few similar knockoff games, some even bearing quite similar names like Elion Ring, Eilen Ring…. Most were removed shortly after appearing.
