Students often find ways to cheat, so it’s no surprise that during exams, alongside their genuine efforts, many also seek all possible means to “cheat”. In the past, cheating methods remained relatively rudimentary, limited to writing on desks or using “cheat sheets”. However, with the advancement of technology, these cheating methods have been significantly enhanced. Recently, a young man made the online community astounded by using a “cheat” from the 4.0 technology era – a pair of Bluetooth slippers.

According to Indian media reports, during a national exam held in the country, 10 candidates from the Razastan region were caught cheating. What’s more surprising is that the trick employed by these 10 students was extremely sophisticated, as they wore modified flip-flops. Externally, they looked similar to regular slippers, but underneath, between the sole and the surface, a Bluetooth device was cleverly concealed. Coupled with the use of small earphones, the candidates could receive answers transmitted from outside.

Local police reported that they had detected suspicious individuals loitering outside the exam room a day before the event began, prompting them to arrange an investigation. Remarkably, after everything concluded, everyone was shocked to learn that the price of each “high-tech” slipper reached 600,000 rupees (about 180 million VND) – a not insignificant amount. According to reports, a total of 25 candidates were found using this device. After the incident, the police announced a nationwide alert in India, requesting candidates to go barefoot when entering the exam room.
