On the afternoon of February 1st, Hanoi’s Department of Health reported two new cases. Thus, Hanoi now has a total of 19 Covid-19 patients since the outbreak appeared in Hai Duong province and Quang Ninh province.
The first patient, male, born in 1974, residing in Me Linh, is an F1 contact of patient 1724. Currently, the epidemiological history of this new case has not been published.
Patient 1724, N.V.H., male, 41 years old, is a worker at Z153 factory – Department of Techniques, Ministry of Defense, Dong Anh town, Dong Anh, and has been in contact with patient 1694. Mr. H. has a very busy travel schedule, taking his child to school daily, attending parties, and drinking coffee.

The second patient, male, born in 1962, residing in Nam Tu Liem district, is an F1 contact of patient 1814. Currently, the epidemiological history of this new case has also not been published.
Patient 1814, Đ.T.T., female, 50 years old, is a teacher at Sao Do Secondary School, Chi Linh, Hai Duong. The family consists of 5 members: the patient and her husband and 3 children (2 biological sons and 1 daughter-in-law), residing at number 9 Bach Dang street, Hung Dao, Sao Do ward, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong. The family recently purchased a house in My Dinh 2 and moved in on January 27th.
This individual has an epidemiological history of traveling to Hai Duong on January 23-24 to organize a wedding for her eldest son, N.B.T (born in 1992) at the Viet Tien Son wedding hall (located in Sao Do, Chi Linh, Hai Duong).
The younger son has been confirmed to be infected with Covid-19, being case 1815.
