The boss (boss) is created for players to face and experience the taste of victory when defeating them. However, these bosses are not always defeated by players. Sometimes they are taken down by even more terrifying bosses.
Here is part two of the 10 powerful bosses that have killed other bosses in the game, inviting you to follow along.
Joker – Batman: Arkham Origins

Even though they all share a common goal of wanting to kill Batman, that doesn’t mean they won’t kill each other. Because in Gotham, besides money, villains sometimes want to beat each other just to prove their supremacy. One of the most memorable boss vs. boss scenes in the Batman game series is when the Joker kills Lester Buchinsky, also known as the Electrocutioner.

The Electrocutioner is one of the 8 assassins hired by Black Mask – the main villain of the game, whom the Joker impersonates, to kill Batman. However, due to not adhering to the agreement and showing a rebellious attitude, the Joker kicked him out of the window of a high-rise building, and of course, he died instantly upon hitting the ground.
Alex Mercer – Prototype 2
Alex Mercer was once an antihero character, but later became a wicked enemy force appearing in Prototype 2 to confront the main character of this installment – James Heller.
Mercer is a living entity of the Blacklight virus. He begins to infect certain people within Gentek and Blackwatch, causing them to “evolve” into beings with powers similar to Mercer. Although Heller is one of those infected, he does not side with Mercer because he is the one who killed his wife and daughter.

In Prototype 2, you will face off against “evolved” bosses, making the battles evenly matched. Near the end of the game, as Heller delves deep into the Red Zone – the source of the virus – Mercer awaits Heller with a terrifying plan. That is, Mercer starts absorbing all the “evolved” characters he has created, consolidating their powers to become an overwhelmingly powerful boss. The battle that follows has caused countless gamers to rage, but it makes sense because Mercer is now the final boss, with all the strength of the other bosses combined.

Red Hood – Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)
Jason Todd, also known as the Red Hood, first appears in the Arkhamverse as a mysterious villain named Arkham Knight. As soon as Todd reveals his identity, he removes his glasses to don a cool mask. Instead of a typical boss fight, to defeat the Red Hood, you must overcome several mini-fights, then find a way to evade his sight and reach Todd’s hiding spot. Shortly after, Todd disappears, only to reappear at the end to assist Batman after he has reflected on his choices.

In the Red Hood DLC, you will learn more about Jason Todd’s solo crime-fighting journey in the past. It shows Todd as quite a brute, rushing in to fight without the strategic thinking of Batman. Todd hunted down Black Mask – a boss who appeared in the main game – and kicked him out of a window, causing him to fall to his death. It seems Todd has no qualms about killing.

Maester Seymour – Final Fantasy X
JRPG games are often easily recognizable for their good and evil characters at first glance. In this case, V2 is Seymour Guado – a maester of the Yevon religion with quite formidable martial skills and a slightly eccentric personality. And indeed, Seymour Guado is a villain. You will have to fight this character 3 times throughout your journey, and each time he becomes harder to defeat. However, before that, Guado constantly convinces players that he is a good person.

Right after encountering Guado, the main characters face a gigantic monster named Sinspawn Gui, resembling a centipede. In the first round, you must fend for yourself, but as this monster weakens, Seymour steps in to assist the player with magic. His help is self-serving, and theoretically, your team members are fully capable of delivering the finishing blow to Sinspawn. But because Seymour is so powerful, it is likely that the monster will die at his hands rather than by anyone in your team.

Biolizard/FinalHazard – Sonic Adventure 2 (2001)
It seems that one Ultimate Life Form is not enough, as the final stage of Sonic Adventure 2 also features a second one connected to a space station capable of destroying an entire planet. Biolizard was created by Dr. Gerald Robotnik (the grandfather of Dr. Eggman – Sonic’s arch-nemesis), and this is the experimental version of Shadow the Hedgehog.

This monster was abandoned at the ARK space station for many years, and when Eggman reactivated the space station, it reappeared to spread terror. In the Hero campaign, you must fight Shadow twice. However, at the game’s climax, during the battle against FinalHazard (stage 2 of Biolizard), Shadow and Sonic ally together, using the Chaos Emeralds to defeat this boss. The final battle drained all of Shadow’s energy, causing him to fall to Earth and accept his fate.
