Guitar Hero, the rhythm-based guitar game, has long been overlooked by the majority of gamers, but that hasn’t stopped enthusiasts from picking up their guitars. Similar to other notoriously difficult games, such as the Souls-like series, fighting games, or racing games, conquering the Expert difficulty level in Guitar Hero deserves a place in the record books. And just like in Souls-like games, when players fail, they keep trying again.
One of the most renowned and skilled Guitar Hero players currently is CarnyJared. If you don’t believe it, see for yourself the latest achievement of CarnyJared.
In addition to the Expert difficulty, CarnyJared also used the Souless mode version 6, which increases the game’s difficulty by adding songs that are too challenging for the average player.
In his record-setting video, CarnyJared plays a song that isn’t long, but requires him to hit many notes accurately at once. The notes continuously change, leaving viewers bewildered, yet CarnyJared manages to play while glancing back, like a top-tier guitarist.
Most players in the Guitar Hero community believe that completing Souless is impossible, but clearly, CarnyJared has proven otherwise. He shared that he has been training continuously since last August to achieve this remarkable feat.
It’s unclear which mountain a player who has reached such heights will choose to conquer next, but it’s certain that this gamer’s fingers will need some rest after just setting such a “burning guitar” record.
