In the last two days, netizens have been eagerly waiting for the drama to unfold as the main characters of the uproar, Khoa Pug and Johnny Dang, have all come forward to speak out. Many shocking pieces of information have been revealed, along with a series of “iconic” statements from the once-close friends.
Among them, Khoa Pug’s statement “30 billion seems huge for you, but for me, it’s like trash” has drawn the most attention. Although shocking, netizens do not seem to doubt the authenticity of this statement, as Khoa Pug had previously engaged in numerous business ventures that left many astonished, such as spending 6 billion on a restaurant in the U.S., carrying a bag of cash to buy a Mercedes C300 AMG, and spending 700 million to acquire a diamond chain… The most significant must be the partnership with Vuong Pham to purchase an aircraft worth 115 billion.

However, recently, this very deal has become a hot topic on social media when a well-prepared “whistleblowing” post unexpectedly emerged, asserting that Khoa Pug and Vuong Pham deceived the online community. Specifically, a YouTube account named P.D created a nearly 35-minute video pointing out the contradictions related to the story of the hundred billion aircraft purchase by the wealthy duo.
Accordingly, on October 28, Khoa Pug posted a video reviewing the entire journey of buying a private jet with Vuong Pham. The Massive Deal of 115 Billion for a Private Jet Back to Vietnam! was the title of this video.
In the video, Vuong Pham repeatedly affirmed that he had made a deposit because the aircraft that the Vietnamese millionaire was eyeing was also being targeted by many others. Vuong Pham even referred to it as “my plane” and whispered to… the aircraft: “Come home with me, darling”.

Khoa Pug himself mentioned that his video contained unique content, documenting the entire process of buying an aircraft, including: going to see it, liking it, and negotiating. Near the end of the video, the YouTuber revealed that the two had finalized the deal and that the aircraft would arrive in about two months (or sooner).
In the video description, Khoa Pug wrote: “Previously, the two of us flew a private jet costing $11,000 per day to see how it went, but it turned out the plane was too small and uncomfortable, so today we decided to buy a plane twice as big, costing also twice as much – $5 million ~ 115 billion VND. This is the one that can fly back to Vietnam, so next year when I return to Vietnam, I won’t have to spend money on plane tickets haha”.
The aircraft purchase video of Khoa Pug and Vuong Pham quickly attracted over 4.4 million views. Everyone was amazed by the wealth and willingness to spend of both. However, according to P.D – the individual who spoke out against Khoa Pug and Vuong Pham, this deal is merely a “scam”.

The first contradiction arises from the fact that after checking the Controller website – where Vuong Pham introduced that he had viewed and purchased the aircraft, P.D discovered the information about the aircraft with the registration number N236N – matching the number of the aircraft Vuong Pham and Khoa Pug supposedly purchased is still intact on the website.
Typically, when any product, including an aircraft, is sold online, once the product has been purchased, the seller will place a “SOLD” sign or remove the images altogether. However, attached to the aircraft with registration number N236N was not the word “SOLD” but rather “CALL FOR PRICE”. This means that by the time P.D checked the website in the afternoon of December 1 according to Canadian time, this aircraft was still being offered for sale by the owner, not “finalized” as Khoa Pug had shared back in late October.

The second contradiction pointed out by P.D concerns the price of the aircraft. During a price check on November 23 when the price of the aircraft was still publicly available, the figure provided by the seller was $1,995,000 (approximately 45.4 billion VND). Meanwhile, the figure Khoa Pug stated was $5 million (approximately 115 billion VND).
While Khoa Pug claimed that he and Vuong Pham spent $5 million (115 billion) to buy the aircraft, on the official website, the seller was offering the aircraft at a price of only $1.995 million (45.5 billion).
At the end of the video, the whistleblower requested to rename Khoa Pug and Vuong Pham to Khoa “boastful” and Vuong “boastful” due to their “systematic exaggeration, professional lying, and misleading the Vietnamese online community”.
As of now, the public remains quite confused about what the truth is. We will continue to provide updates on the situation.
