On the morning of April 24, the online community was abuzz with news that the largest movie piracy website in Vietnam had officially “disappeared”. At the same time, many debates suggested that the return of this website in the near future was entirely possible.
The site in question is phimmoi.net. This has been a familiar address for Vietnamese movie enthusiasts since 2010. The site offers a wide range of popular movies and TV shows, with content updates that are among the fastest of all current movie streaming websites.

However, it should be noted that the films provided on this platform are entirely unlicensed. The website operates by profiting from advertising banners.
Not long ago, this movie piracy site was specifically accused by the US of illegally providing thousands of American movies and TV shows. To address various copyright issues and the server shutdown, this site continuously changed its domain name to avoid regulatory scrutiny.

From phimmoi.net, it changed to phimmoiz.net and phimmoiizz.net continuously for a long time. Many users have become accustomed to watching movies without paying, enjoying unlicensed films, so it’s understandable that this site continues to thrive.
However, recently, many believe that phimmoi.net has once again changed its domain name to phimmoiizz.net. According to investigations, this is another piracy website that “follows” this platform to “make a profit”. The updated movies are also not complete and only serve as placeholders. Thus, there is no confirmation that this is indeed the website from phimmoi.net.

Currently, there are many platforms to watch licensed films in high quality such as Netflix, Vieon, Galaxy Play… Users can easily choose to enjoy the best movies instead of supporting a site similar to phimmoi.net.
