Yesterday, Ben Forbes, one of the representatives from Riot Games, posted a tweet on his Twitter regarding the next release of League of Legends: Wild Rift, and this tweet immediately “created a storm” in the League of Legends: Wild Rift gamer community. Specifically, the announcement was as follows:
“To meet the expectations, we will push it back a bit before we are ready for the next test version of League of Legends: Wild Rift. But it will definitely not be more than 8 months from now until the next announcement…”.

This means that, if unlucky, players will have to wait until February 2021 to find out what the fate of League of Legends: Wild Rift will be then. Moreover, even February 2021 may not guarantee that it is the official release time, as it could just be another test for this game, according to what the Riot Games representative stated.
Immediately, this tweet “created a storm” within the international League of Legends: Wild Rift gaming community. Many players were so outraged that they were ready to “say goodbye”, even calling Riot Games a “scam” or believing that League of Legends: Wild Rift will “die”. This shows just how frustrated players are with the decision considered outrageous by Riot Games regarding the fate of League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Players worldwide, including those in Vietnam, have become extremely anxious and eager to experience League of Legends: Wild Rift early. However, the way Riot is handling this product seems like a way to test players’ patience.
After all, Riot Games cannot launch League of Legends: Wild Rift overnight, as it holds the status of a mobile MOBA masterpiece, inheriting all the values and essence of League of Legends. Riot Games has the right to ask for patience from players to ensure the product is as refined as possible. Being a blockbuster, League of Legends: Wild Rift also has its own challenges when it cannot easily launch in the near future.

Currently, players can only hope that the 8-month timeframe is just the maximum limit provided by the Riot representative. Who knows, League of Legends: Wild Rift could be released sooner if everything goes smoothly. As mentioned, all we can do is wait for Riot Games’ decision; only then will players worldwide, including gamers in Vietnam, know the fate of League of Legends: Wild Rift.
