Although he is one of the most controversial names in the Vietnamese YouTube scene, it cannot be denied that NTN remains a highly influential vlog brand. Evidence of this is that every video he releases attracts millions of views, despite the substantial dislikes from anti-fans. After a long period of announcing his retirement and pausing activities on YouTube, NTN has recently made an official statement about his comeback, aiming to conquer the prestigious diamond play button. In fact, he is even willing to change his content, no longer focusing on negative, criticized aspects as before, to shift towards creating fun and exploratory clips.
And indeed, this has brought about quite positive signs as this change has also led viewers to have a more favorable view of him. In fact, it is clearly reflected in the rising follow count on his channel, surpassing even Cris Devil Gamer – another very famous YouTuber, to rise to the 3rd position on the ranking of top YouTubers in Vietnam based on subscriber count. The top 1 and top 2 YouTube channels are POPS Kids with 12.9 million and FAP TV with 12.1 million subscribers, respectively.
However, NTN’s destination is definitely not stopping here. Specifically, in his latest post on YouTube, he has clearly stated his goal to set a record, becoming the first individual YouTuber to achieve the diamond play button (over 10 million subs). Remember, both FAP TV and POPS Kids are well-known YouTuber groups, while in terms of individuals, NTN and Cris Devil Gamer are currently the two closest names to the diamond play button.
In reality, the gap between NTN and Cris Devil Gamer is also quite narrow as both have around 9.24 million followers and only differ by a small margin. In the long run, both of these YouTube channels will surely hit the 10 million mark in the near future. But the story that is currently sparking the most debate is who will reach 10 million first to be honored with this record. NTN himself is making significant efforts to develop, while Cris Devil Gamer boasts a large fan base thanks to his humorous personality and unique content. It’s hard to predict the outcome of this race.
