Recently, a rare incident occurred in an apartment complex in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. According to images captured by surveillance cameras, a young man was waiting for the elevator when a young girl suddenly pulled down her mask and lunged at him to hug and kiss him. This moment lasted for several seconds and only ended when a friend of the girl noticed.

In this situation, Chinese media presented two scenarios depending on the attitude of the “victim.” If the young man felt no discomfort after being kissed by the stranger, then the girl’s actions would not be considered sexual harassment. Conversely, if he felt offended by her actions, this would be classified as harassment, and he could call the police, leading to the girl being detained and fined accordingly.
Three days after the incident, the young man who was kissed took to social media to clarify. He expressed his opinion, stating that the girl might have had too much to drink and couldn’t control her behavior, and he had no intention of reporting her to the police. In fact, he is trying to find the bold girl and hopes to start a relationship with her.

It is known that this young man has the surname Zheng and is still single. This could very well be his chance to escape the “single” status before the upcoming Lunar New Year!
