A 19 USD “cloth” has become an unwitting focal point at Apple’s recent October event. Now, it’s Tesla’s turn to launch an equally ridiculous product – accompanied by a jab from the famous billionaire Elon Musk.
On his Twitter, the CEO of Tesla called on customers to purchase the “Cyberwhistle” for 50 USD, a premium whistle made of medical-grade stainless steel inspired by the company’s Cybertruck SUV – instead of buying Apple’s 19 USD Apple Cloth.

In fact, according to the product page linked to the tweet, this item is limited edition – and so far, it has sold out. The same happened with Apple’s “cloth” when delivery dates were pushed back to January next year.
This is not the first time Tesla has produced products that are somewhat unrelated to its main product line. Previously, the company even sold flamethrowers under its brand.

This is certainly not the first time Elon Musk has taken a jab at this Apple product. At the end of October, when Tim Cook tweeted congratulations on the launch of a new Apple store in Istanbul, Turkey, Musk quickly commented below: “Come see this Apple Cloth.”
Not only because of this cloth, Musk has also mocked Apple on several other occasions, such as highlighting that the batteries in his cars use less cobalt than those in Apple’s iPhones. Previously, Musk even supported Epic when the company got into a legal battle with Apple over the 30% fee on the App Store.
