In the sports industry, especially among those who have studied in this field, few do not know him – one of the leading professors and doctors who contributed significantly to the development of science and technology and training human resources in sports in our country. Throughout his life, he was always dedicated to his profession, eager to learn, read, and write, with many of his research projects coming to fruition and yielding great results for the development of the sports sector. In Vietnamese eSports, Professor Duong Nghiep Chi was also the pioneer who laid a solid foundation for our Electronic Sports to begin its journey and achieve success on the international stage.
Passionate about sports since childhood, especially in sports like football and athletics, this is quite normal for many Vietnamese youth. However, for Professor Duong Nghiep Chi, in addition to his passion for sports, he also possessed athletic talent. This was the difference between him and his peers. This factor was also one of the reasons he chose to build his career in sports. As a leading figure of dedication, he also helped the youth and future generations feel secure in pursuing a career in sports in general and eSports in particular.
Throughout his life, Professor Duong Nghiep Chi was always associated with the career of Vietnamese sports. Many of his research projects have come to fruition and yielded great results for the development of the sports sector in our country.

VIRESA, established in 2009, is a project close to his heart with the hope of bringing Vietnamese electronic sports and entertainment to the region, making it a key sport for our country on the international stage.
After a period of enjoying his old age, Professor Duong Nghiep Chi has peacefully passed away. Although there are still many plans and unfinished projects, future generations will continue to inherit and promote the legacy that Professor Chi has left behind.
