Due to the impact of the pandemic, students across the country had to endure the longest Tet holiday in history. After a period of quarantine, a large number of students began to stir and move back to major cities to continue their studies. However, what every student worries about is having to clean up their entire dorm room or shared accommodation. This task becomes even more daunting in rooms with many people living together.
Many students thought the quarantine would last only a few weeks, so they left behind a lot of leftover food. Four months is more than enough time for food to spoil, providing a breeding ground for maggots. A fellow student recently shared some incredibly disturbing images.

Most internet users who witnessed this scene felt sympathy for the girl and offered advice to help her learn from this experience for future breaks.
– “Maybe you need to hire or ask a few more people to help you tackle this mess.”
– “Seeing the pile of maggots in the fridge makes me want to throw everything away instead of cleaning it up.”
– “It’s best to use up all the leftover food in the fridge before going home.”
– “If you’re sharing a place with many people, you should remind each other to eat up the food and clean up early, so you don’t waste food like this. The longer you wait, the less hygienic it becomes.”
