On June 5, the Food Safety Authority (Ministry of Health) reported that it had received a report from the Food Safety Department of Ho Chi Minh City regarding the inspection and verification of the production, trading, and advertising activities of certain weight loss products advertised by DJ Ngân 98 (X1000, weight loss capsules X3 (Super Detox X3), X7 plus).
Through initial verification, distribution companies such as Zubu Trading and Service Co., Ltd. and Ngân 98 Trading and Service Co., Ltd. have temporarily ceased operations, are no longer physically present at their registered addresses, and cannot be contacted. Therefore, the Food Safety Department of Ho Chi Minh City has not been able to clearly verify whether the products from these units are still circulating in the market.
Right after receiving the report from the Food Safety Department of Ho Chi Minh City, the Food Safety Authority sent a document requesting the Department of Market Management, local Market Management Departments, Health Departments, Food Safety Departments, Food Safety Management Boards, and local Food Hygiene and Safety Departments to urgently proceed with inspections, reviews, sampling in the market, and handling violations (if any) regarding the above products according to regulations.
To protect consumer health and prevent food safety risks, the Food Safety Authority advises the public not to purchase or use food products named X1000, weight loss capsules X3 (Super Detox X3), X7 plus (produced by Nano Tesla High Technology Pharmaceutical Production Co., Ltd., located in Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi) while waiting for the authorities to complete the inspection and verification of these products.
Previously, according to information from Lao Dong newspaper, the Food Safety Authority also stated that through a review on the online public service software, only X7 plus was identified as a health-protecting food that had its registration documents accepted by the Authority. Specifically, this product was announced and is responsible by ZUBU Trading and Service Co., Ltd., located at 154 Pham Van Chieu, Ward 9, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The product is manufactured at Nano Tesla High Technology Pharmaceutical Production Co., Ltd., Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong Commune, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi, with registration number 5297/2021/ĐKSP dated June 14, 2021.
The Food Safety Authority confirms that it has not issued any advertising content verification certificates for the aforementioned products.
