Once appearing with an incredibly high frequency, he even openly expressed his love for the job, but just recently, Ken Shimizu gave an interview that surprised everyone.
Accordingly, after gradually reducing activities since October last year, Ken Shimizu has finally decided to follow in Yua Mikami’s footsteps and retire early starting this April.
Sharing his decision, he announced that there are two main reasons that prompted him to take such action. The first is that the work environment has changed a lot, significantly diminishing the surprises and excitement while working. More importantly, Ken Shimizu admitted that his female colleagues are becoming increasingly attractive and beautiful, but at the same time, are gradually becoming boring due to a lack of emotion.
The second reason, which is also the most significant factor causing Ken Shimizu’s frustration and thoughts of following Yua Mikami, is what has made him lose much joy and interest in his work. Currently, Ken Shimizu is still resting while also creating vlogs sharing about his life during his free time. It is still unknown what his next plans will be.
It is clear to see the disappointment and disillusionment in Ken Shimizu’s sharing. This decision has also closed the chapter on Ken Shimizu’s more than 20 years of dedication.
