In League of Legends specifically, and many other games in general, there is always a segment of players that can be described as extremely toxic, with the most common behavior being “game ruining”. Actions classified as “game ruining” include AFK, insulting teammates and opponents alike, and intentionally dying…

And whether we like it or not, if you play games, you will definitely encounter such cases at least once. At that point, aside from “suffering in silence,” players have almost no other recourse. Game publishers always include a feature called “Report” in the game, but it often does not lead to effective action being taken.
Recently, a player voiced their complaints about the issue of rank ruining in League of Legends. Specifically, this player encountered game ruining in two consecutive matches. Neither match ended well, even though in the first match, this player was top in damage dealt. “Why are these players not being punished? They should be permanently banned from ranked. I repeat, they do not play the game with effort or to win, so why do I have to face them when I put all my heart into the game? I even have to encourage the team to try until the last second.”

However, in response to this player’s frustration, the international League of Legends community appeared indifferent and weary. Comments from netizens revolved around how they too had encountered game ruining and the unpleasant feelings that this brings. Nonetheless, many also admitted that the issue of game ruining will never be fully resolved. As one player commented: “You have the right to complain, but Riot won’t do anything. They haven’t done anything about it for a long time.”

Some other opinions advised against playing ranked during the Preseason – a time when players often want to experiment rather than play seriously.

Indeed, for players who always try hard in every game, the issue of rank ruining is extremely frustrating, even leading to negative gaming experiences. Riot has repeatedly stated that they would address this thoroughly, but in the end, things remain the same. Ultimately, the “victims” of this are the players who have devoted their love to Riot’s famous “national game.”
