As we reported, Phimmoi is probably one of the most popular websites for sharing pirated films among internet users in Vietnam. Not only does it boast an enormous collection of films from Asia to Europe, but Phimmoi is also famous for its astonishingly fast film uploads and subtitles. This website has been blocked or crashed numerous times, yet it always seems to “rise again” as if nothing happened. Many internet users even joke that “Phimmoi is immortal.” However, according to the latest information circulating on social media, this pirated film site is facing the risk of permanent closure as the identities of the management team have been revealed.
After many times of being blocked, the website has still managed to organize and operate for 7 years. However, investigators have now discovered the identities of the management team and have decided to initiate criminal proceedings against these individuals. Surprisingly, fans recently discovered a new version of this pirated film site called Phimmoiplus. In terms of interface, Phimmoiplus looks almost identical to Phimmoi and related versions like Phimmoiz, Phimmoizz, or Phimmoizzz. At the bottom of the homepage, there is a message from the website’s development team: “We have returned with a new mission. Phimmoi, Phimmoiz, Phimmoizz are just old domains, access now with the new domain PhimMoiPlus.
Immediately, this event sparked debates among social media users interested in this issue. Many viewers expressed surprise at the spectacular transformation of Phimmoi. Despite the information about potential legal actions, PhimMoiPlus emerged as a successor to the pirated site Phimmoi. Alongside the opposition, many viewers also stated that they were too accustomed to watching films on the Phimmoi website, and the debut of PhimMoiPlus was perhaps one of the measures the management team of this site continued to exploit illicitly from this pirated film platform. Many viewers humorously suggested that if PhimMoiPlus crashes, we wouldn’t be surprised if the next site is named phimmoipro or phimmoipromax.
