Released on September 29, eFootball 2022 from Konami has received a lot of criticism from the gaming community, especially from fans of the legendary PES series. This game suffers from too many graphical and gameplay issues, leaving players furious that Konami shut down the PES series to produce such a disaster.

As a way to soothe gamers’ anger, Konami recently posted an announcement about bug fixes for this game on Twitter. Specifically, update 0.9.1 to fix bugs and other issues with eFootball 2022 will be released on October 28. Konami also promised to continuously update details of the eFootball 2022 development plan for gamers in the future.

Although Konami has apologized and promised to improve eFootball, gamers still cannot accept this game. Many passionate players and die-hard fans of the PES series have demanded that Konami delete eFootball 2022 and return to creating the legendary PES series. Some fans have even expressed negativity by stating they would switch to playing EA’s FIFA for the first time since 2003 after experiencing the disaster that is eFootball.

The anger of the gaming community indicates that eFootball 2022 is indeed a “disaster” product, nothing more. It could even be seen as a “stain” in Konami’s game development history. Hopefully, this game company will find a way to please its fans; otherwise, a large number of Konami’s customers will “run away” to play FIFA from rival EA.
