The leaked information about the iPhone 9 comes from a supplier indicating that Apple has ordered 6 different screen models, including 2 LCD models and 6 OLED models. It’s possible that the OLED screen will be used for the 4 versions of the iPhone 12, while the other 2 models will be used for the iPhone 9.
Configuration
According to a reliable source, the iPhone 9 will only have 2 configuration options: 64GB and 128GB. Both versions will utilize the powerful Apple A13 chip. Some experts believe that to penetrate the budget segment, Apple will sell the iPhone 9 at a starting price of $399, which is approximately 9 million Vietnamese Dong.
Design Predictions
So far, many rumors and images claiming to be the design of the iPhone 9 have surfaced. Experts believe that the most reasonable design for the iPhone 9 will resemble the iPhone 8.
If that is the case, the iPhone 9 will feature a glass back, single camera, and traditional display. The home button with 3D Touch will return and serve as the main interaction channel for the device, just like the older iPhone models from Apple.
Additionally, another design model has recently been unveiled. This futuristic design stems from a leaked Apple patent. The edge-to-edge display, camera, and fingerprint sensor will be embedded under the screen.
While we cannot be certain about the design of the iPhone 9 set to be launched in the near future, it promises to be a blockbuster for Apple as it targets the mid-range customer segment that Apple has completely overlooked in the past.
