Throughout the pandemic outbreak in Vietnam, many artists, singers, actors, and others have stepped up to support the government’s disease prevention fund. Now, this movement has reached the YouTube platform with the emergence of Hero Team, a breath of fresh air in the YouTube Gaming community.

Hero Team is a collective of 8 YouTubers specializing in producing videos about games like Mini World, Minecraft, and more. With the goal of “giving our all for the community, determined to fight the pandemic,” these YouTubers have launched calls for support on fan club groups for Mini World, Minecraft, and others, which many have historically viewed as games only for children.

This is truly clear evidence that this battle is not just anyone’s. It does not discriminate between the rich and the poor, nor by age; everyone can contribute their strength in this historic fight. Every contribution will serve as a flame to ignite the fighting spirit amidst the storm of the pandemic.
On his personal page, Mister Vịt (the leader of Hero Team) shared: “Don’t wait until the pandemic knocks on your door; let’s join hands and eliminate it as our ancestors drove away foreign invaders. The young do small deeds, the old do big deeds; don’t ask what the country has done for you, but always ask what you have done for the country. No matter how old you are, whether you’re still in school or working, let’s be present in this battle.”

This is not the first time this YouTuber group has stepped out of the virtual world to contribute to the community. At the end of 2019, Hero Team also carried out a charity trip for a special case, a fan of theirs who had a relative suffering from a serious illness.
It can be said that the Covid-19 pandemic is a clear test that demonstrates the spirit of nationalism of the Vietnamese people. No matter who you are, when the country needs, we are always ready.
