The PUBG Mobile World League 2020 is featuring intense matches. This is an international event for PUBG Mobile being held this year. Vietnam’s representative, Box Gaming, will compete alongside 19 top PUBG MOBILE teams from the Eastern region for the championship with a total prize pool of up to $100,000 prize money!

The PUBG Mobile World League 2020 gathers a host of the strongest names in Asia and the best teams from the PMPL and PUBG Mobile Club Opens (PMCO) in their respective regions. The PUBG Mobile World League is the first international event of 2020, organized by Tencent, with the tournament taking place in two regions, East and West. Vietnam’s representative, Box Gaming, will compete in the PUBG Mobile World League East along with representatives from SEA, South Asia, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Wildcard.

Yesterday, in the PUBG Mobile Vietnam community group, there were many posts calling for players to support Vietnam’s representative, Box Gaming. However, there were also some posts expressing outrage that Box Gaming has been cheated as the opposing team allegedly teamed up to gain an advantage. Specifically, some players believe that Thailand is the team that has engaged in unfair play by teaming up to secure favorable positions on the leaderboard.

These posts quickly garnered support from Vietnamese gamers, with many players stating that such behavior is unacceptable. However, some players commented objectively that this is not a case of not a team up and the poster is misunderstanding what is happening in the match.

Specifically, one gamer spoke out, “This is a clip from yesterday’s PMWL match. YOODOGANK is the Malaysian team cruising on a Vespa that was taken out by Box• Pimay10, not Thailand.” Many other players agreed, stating that this was indeed the Yoodo team from Malaysia, not the Thai representative team.

Perhaps, due to their strong support for their team, some gamers expressed opinions that were a bit excessive. However, this also demonstrates the support of Vietnamese players for their representative, Box Gaming, as well as shows the “animosity” towards the Thai representatives, although whether they truly teamed up or not remains to be seen at this time.

Yesterday, despite Box Gaming’s best efforts, they only ranked 9th on the leaderboard. Although they placed 9th overall, Box Gaming’s number of kills was equal to that of Orange Rock and greater than T1, TSM, or MegaStars. At this moment, what players need to do is to support their team in a calm and civilized manner. As for whether the team up actually happened, only time will tell.
