Nguyễn Hoàng Mỹ Kim, hailing from Bến Tre, is currently a third-year student at Saigon University, majoring in International Business. At 22 years old, Mỹ Kim is known as an active student and a dedicated contributor to Garena Free Fire in her role as a female referee.
With a natural love for esports, she shared that her journey into Esports began when she participated in organizing and running tournaments for the Esports Club at Saigon University.
Mỹ Kim believes that to excel as a referee, the first step is to understand and know how to play Free Fire, handle situations quickly, and maintain good health due to the nature of the job requiring a lot of standing.
When she first started, Mỹ Kim had not played Free Fire, so she spent time getting used to the game. During her work, she was taught and guided by her seniors, which helped her adapt quite quickly.
This job is not only a passion but also a place for her to learn, practice, and develop herself. Additionally, it provides Mỹ Kim with a certain income.
After gaining recognition following the DTDV Finals event, the third-year student feels fortunate to receive much love from the audience. Her daily life remains normal, but she has become quite noticed and followed on social media.
This is also the reason why Mỹ Kim’s images were exploited on many adult websites, used to advertise harmful apps. Upon discovering the incident, the young referee quickly reported these cases with her friends to the platform and they were handled appropriately.
With the early successes and favor from the audience, Mỹ Kim sees this as a stepping stone to perform her job better. Additionally, she wishes to explore the modeling field and is currently building her personal TikTok channel, hoping for positive results in the near future.
