According to the report from the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, as of 6 AM today, there have been no new COVID-19 cases reported. Thus, it has been exactly 24 hours since Vietnam recorded any new cases.
As of now, the total number of cases is: 251 cases (156 people from abroad accounting for 62.6%; 95 secondary infections)
Total number in quarantine: As of 6:00 AM on April 9, there are 77,292 people. Of these, those in centralized quarantine at hospitals: 642 people (1%). Home and residence quarantine: 48,866 people (63%). Centralized quarantine at other facilities: 27,790 people (36%).

As of this moment, the number of COVID-19 patients who have been cured/discharged in our country is 126 cases, making up over 50% of the current cases.
The remaining 125 patients are currently being treated at 17 healthcare facilities across the country, most of whom are in stable condition, including:
– 05 patients on oxygen support.
– Number of cases testing negative for SARS-CoV-2 once: 25 cases.
– Number of cases testing negative for SARS-CoV-2 twice: 17 cases.
– It is expected that on April 9, Can Gio COVID-19 Treatment Hospital will announce 02 patients BN203, BN234 have been cured.
