When it comes to one of the most controversial YouTubers in Vietnam this year, it has to be Hưng Vlog. The son of Bà Tân (real name Nguyễn Văn Hưng) has been continuously criticized by the audience for creating inappropriate content, from cooking chicken porridge with feathers still attached to teaching others how to steal money from piggy banks. Subsequently, the male vlogger was fined a total of 17.5 million VND by the Department of Information and Communications of Bắc Giang Province and was ordered to remove all videos from his YouTube channel.
Faced with this “series of scandals,” Bà Tân’s son decided to temporarily stop uploading new videos to his channel Hưng Vlog, which has over 2.92 million subscribers. His Facebook account also paused sharing everything from October 1st. Notably, the Hưng Troll channel was later found to have “disappeared without a trace” by netizens.

Just tonight, Hưng Vlog officially posted an apology on the Community section of his YouTube channel. The original text is as follows:
“Apology Corner:
Hello everyone, it has been a while since I last uploaded a video for you to watch. I sincerely apologize because for the past two weeks, I have been the center of criticism. I feel very sad and pressured.
If you have been watching me for a long time, you will understand that I create clips just to bring laughter to everyone, and none of my clips teach or promote you to do as I do. The two videos of mine recently were initially intended just to troll (joke around) with my family. Due to my lack of understanding, those videos violated Vietnam’s cultural norms, and I deeply regret this and apologize to grandparents, parents, and all relatives who have young children.
If time could rewind, I would not make such videos again. I sincerely apologize to everyone and hope you will continue to support me in the future. Thank you!”

It can be seen that Bà Tân’s son has shown remorse and did not foresee the consequences of the videos he uploaded. In response to Hưng Vlog’s apology, netizens left numerous comments, most of which were sympathetic towards the male YouTuber for recognizing his mistakes.
– “It’s okay, everyone makes mistakes sometimes. The important thing is how to correct them!”
– “I will continue to support you, I just hope that when you make new videos in the future, you will learn a deep lesson from this experience and not promote any wrong actions anymore.”
– “I think you should invest in creating more new content in the future, reduce the outrageous and inappropriate jokes; if you keep doing the same things as before, your channel will gradually become bland. Wishing you much success!”

Let’s continue to see what Bà Tân’s son will bring in the future!
