Just like many other eSports products, Call of Duty:Mobile VN is not immune to “hacks”. Even in the international version and in Vietnam, hackers have emerged and caused frustration for many players. Therefore, in the three weeks since its release in Vietnam, VNG has conducted numerous purges, with hundreds of accounts being banned.

Just yesterday, nearly 100 more hacker accounts were permanently banned for cheating. This made the Call of Duty: Mobile VN community thrilled because at least, VNG is taking strong action against these hacking accounts. However, the presence of hacks in Call of Duty: Mobile VN has also led to instances where players become paranoid about encountering hacks.

This means that, although in that match, players might have faced a skilled sniper, being taken down in an unreasonable manner leads them to immediately blame hacks. Recently, a player of Call of Duty: Mobile VN took to the community group to complain that they encountered hacks, and even recorded a clip to prove to everyone that there were suspicious signs in this match.

Most of the times this player was taken down, it was by another player using the DL-Q33 and Arctic. 50 sniper rifles, which are considered two of the strongest guns in Call of Duty: Mobile VN. The DL-Q33 has very high damage and allows you to take down opponents with just one bullet. Additionally, it has high penetration power. These two guns are particularly suitable for wide maps with long sightlines. This is also the source of the controversy between this player and others.

Many other players explained to this player that this might not be hacking but simply that they encountered players who are skilled with the aforementioned sniper rifles and had a good vantage point.

It could even be that they successfully shot through walls since the penetration ability of the DL-Q33 has become “legendary” in Call of Duty: Mobile VN. Some opinions even state that if it were truly hacking, they wouldn’t need to aim or sit still but could simply run around with their gun and “clear” the map.

Of course, the player in this article does not accept this explanation and continues to attempt to prove that they encountered hacks. Ultimately, everything will be clarified because this player has accused those “impossibly accurate shooters”. Whether or not they truly encountered hacks will be revealed in time, but for now, at least VNG is trying to make players trust in their anti-hack campaign.

Hopefully, in the future, the eSports environment in Call of Duty: Mobile VN will always ensure fairness and balance so that civilized players can advance to become professional gamers. To achieve this, besides VNG’s operations, one of the crucial factors is the awareness of the players. A community with many civilized gamers will create a clean gaming environment, and Call of Duty: Mobile VN will certainly be like that if all gamers unite with the publisher.
